Our Story

Welcome to Due Porte, where our passion for authentic Italian flavours and warm hospitality shines through two unique experiences on the Birmingham canal: the deli by day, the Pasta and Wine Bar by night.

Run By The Founder

Sofia Ferri

Due Porte is run by Sofia Ferri. She set up on the Birmingham canal towpath with one idea — simple, high-quality food done properly, from artisan meats and cheeses to fresh pasta made with care.

One Canal, Two Rooms

Set along the canals, both rooms share one address and one stretch of towpath. The deli opens at ten with its counter of imported Italian goods; as the light goes down, a few steps along, the Pasta and Wine Bar serves handmade pasta and Italian wine into the evening.
